Kim Howard served 23 years as a Naval Intelligence Officer and was one of the first women deployed on a combatant ship. Kim worked at the Pentagon, managed Naval Intelligence training programs, and today works at a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. Kim is running to bring progress to Richmond. She will be a champion of public schools, work to make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and confront climate change at the local and regional level by addressing sea-level rise and mitigating neighborhood flooding.

Kim graduated from Frank W. Cox High School, her daughter Hannah graduated from Princess Anne High School in 2018 and her son William is a student at Old Donation School.
