DELEGATE MONTY MASON WINS DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY IN VIRGINIA'S FIRST SENATORIAL DISTRICT

RICHMOND – This evening, Delegate Monty Mason (D-Williamsburg) celebrated a hard-fought victory in the Democratic primary for Virginia’s first senatorial district. Senate Democratic Caucus Chair Donald McEachin (D-Henrico) issued the following statement:

“John was a good friend and his presence is already missed here in Richmond. Still, we are eager to welcome Monty to the Caucus, we are excited about his candidacy, and we are all in for a victory in November. We know that he will be tireless in his efforts to live up to John’s legacy. Shelly is a fighter. She ran a tough campaign and we commend her for it. We are positive that she has great things ahead of her.”
